A Change to My April Schedule: Colonial Handwriting Talk Moves to September

If you were planning to join me on April 18 at RELIC for Tips and Tricks to Deciphering Colonial Handwriting, I have a small update to share: that presentation has been rescheduled and will now take place in September (date to be announced).

The reason? The Manassas area will be buzzing that weekend with some wonderful community events, including the Thai Food Festival, and it seemed like the perfect weekend to be out enjoying the community rather than tucked away with old documents. (Though, honestly, deciphering 18th-century handwriting is its own kind of adventure.)
If you are in the area, I hope you get out and enjoy the festivities, cheer on the runners, or simply make it a day out with friends and family. It is exactly the kind of community spirit that makes this area such a great place to live and work.
Once the September date is confirmed, I will update my presentations page and share it here on the blog. In the meantime, there is plenty on the calendar to keep you busy, including sessions in May at RELIC on Revolutionary War ancestor research. Check out the full schedule, and I hope to see you soon!
